The 'hot' one who has water on the brain and a slightly wonky face so despite being able to put a pretty dress doesn't have the brains of the clever girl or the same beautiful face or the same svelte figure.
That's nice. But he didn't tell you that the Xbox One version will have voice control via the Kinect but the PS4 version won't even though it could use the in-box headset or PS Camera. Why is this? Because Microsoft paid them to gimp the PS4 features and keep this Xbox One exclusive. If you think this is tinfoil talk then make a note of this post and come back to me after the game has launched.
Nickel & diming at every corner.
The bigger scandal is that NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THE FORZA REVIEWS FROM THE MAJOR WEBSITES SAID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. How? Why? What made them keep quiet?
I want to see Sony really take advantage of Playroom and include a little Sackboy that can kick about.
Definitely a post-Heavy Rain game. I enjoyed that and there are not many of these sort of games so I'm really excited about this.
@HankMoody. What's wrong with you? If you want to make an anti-Sony rant that's fine but don't confuse micro-transactions in F2P with micro transactions in full price games! These are two different business models:
1) Free-to-play games are designed to be free to play to start with and then if the user likes them they pay via micro-transactions. It's these payments which are used to pay for the development team and maintenance cost of the game. This is how the...
'Listening?' 'Learning?'
Microsoft is always making the greedy anti-gamer decisions, and reversing them only when enough people complain. 'Stop it' I say 'STOP IT.'
@hankmoody. I don't like F2P but the difference here is that with F2P you get the skeleton of the game free but you pay for the body. Forza 5 and Ryse are full price games so the consumer expects to be getting the full package without having to pay extra.
MSN tech also give the Xbox One at 4/5 which is the same numerical score. Read the review and you see that it is absolutely gushing with praise.
"Starting with the gaming side of the console, not only are early Xbox One adopters being treated to a wealth of fantastic launch titles, there are plenty of big-hitting titles due to land in the next few months as well. And those games look fantastic (resolution and frame-rate quibbles aside) and feel great thanks to the all-i...
The whole point of a bundle is that it should be better value to the consumer then buying separately, not charging more!
£349.99 for PS4.
£150 for Vita.
Separate price is £499 . So the bundle should be the same price but have some downloadable games thrown in. Sony would then profit by these two extra devices spending in the PS ecosystem.
But we have to wait for confirmation of the final prices.
The Xbox One sold less at launch in the UK than the PS3.
This is not a good start.
Twitch was set up to be all about gaming. I don't think they are being unreasonable because they are still allowing people to use PlayRoom to talk about gaming. And if they are done right there is a big market for gaming talk shows on Twitch.
Bad journalism. No where does it say that archiving is being considered for Xbox with Twitch (although I'm sure it's coming). All it has is the quote from Microsoft saying they will add Twitch support next year.
It is wrong for a 'journalist' to make stuff up just because it will get hits.
We need to see some YouTube celebrity cross over calls from Francis or Boogie or the HipHopGamer show.
I didn't catch the Adam Boyes call but what I've watched is strangely interesting. They have a little robot (From PS4 Playroom) floating around their heads and it seems like a little cat or dog and it's almost like they have a pet powered by he Playstation Eye. And the show is kinda like community radio or TV.
There has been a lot of conversation about what is going to be the big next-gen innovation and I'm beginning to think it is live streaming from your co...
If any of you have watched the $750,000 Making Of video for Polygon you will see that no way does it look like it cost 3/4 of a million dollars. The likely reality is that the money also contributes to editorial direction which is done in subtle ways.
The editor chooses writers who reflect his editorial outlook. He chose Arthur Gies to review Killzone, yet this is the guy who had gone on record saying he hated Killzone and along with Adam Sessler and Marcus Beer went into a T...
NO. I like it when a franchise gives us breathing room and a chance to miss it.
It also gives the development team time to respond to what worked and didn't.
How refreshing that a website has praised the game so much and given it one of the highest scores. Please don't go thinking that the high score is in any way related to the fact that this is the Official Xbox Magazine and that Future are contractually obliged to do that.
These are the same journalists who said it doesn't matter if a game is 720p 30fps or 1080p 60fps!
What a surprise Adam 'Shill' Sessler loves the Xbox One and thinks it is better than the PS4. He loves the UI but I've just been watching The Verge team use it on the Polygon live broadcast and it doesn't work quite as well as any of the pre-recorded demonstrations. But why doesn't Sessler refer to this?
It is astute for Sony to underline the power' resolution and frame rate. I saw the 4 page ad and it's bold and confident and focuses 100% on games. They are clear about who they are marketing their console to as every page is emblazoned with the message '4 the Players.'
